Answer: First, always make sure the terminals are tight! Don’t laugh, probably at least 50% of the bikes we service have loose battery terminals, tighten yours with a wrench or socket! Assuming you are doing your own regular inspections, check the condition of the terminals and have the battery tested if you are unsure of its condition.
Purchase a “Battery Tender”, battery charger or trickle charger, plug in the pig tail whenever you’re not riding and forget about it.
